Wildfire WFA50 S-2 Scooter

Wildfire Motors has produced yet another scooter model that has found quick acceptance by consumers. This is the WFA 50 S-2 scooter. The scooter is available in several colors, including a cool pink that is proving to be one of the more popular choices.

A Smooth Ride
With a high powered 50cc, 4 stroke gasoline engine the WFA 50 S-2 is quick, powerful and a pleasure to ride. The 4 stroke design is more similar to one you would find in a larger motorcycle, or an automobile. It delivers smooth, quiet comfort that anyone would find pleasing.

Starting your WFA 50 S-2 Scooter
Although the engine has an electric starting component it also features a kick start lever. This is a thoughtful idea because it provides a back up starting mechanism in the event that it is ever required. Also, there are many riders who really prefer the kick starter on their scooters.

Gas
The gas tank is rated as a 1 gallon capacity container, although it can hold 1.5 gallons if you fill it to the maximum level. This overfill is not recommended however, and 1 gallon will give you plenty of driving range. It is easy to reach and fill the fuel tank, and the design blends nicely into the overall look. The best gasoline to use is unleaded and it should be about 88-90 for the best performance. The higher octane levels are unnecessary and can actually produce lower gas mileage numbers.

Oil
People who are used to an automobile are generally amazed to discover that the oil capacity for WFA 50 S-2 scooters is only 3.5 ounces. This is more than adequate for the needs of this particular 50cc engine. Synthetic engine oil works best. Either 5W50, 15W50 or 10W50 can be used. The first oil change needs to be done after 50 miles and 5W50 should be the oil that you use.

Transmission Details
The transmission is completely automatic and utilizes the CVT design. This stands for Constant Velocity Transmission. There is no need to worry about foot shifting even though your speeds may be constantly changing. This setup allows smooth gear transition especially when you are maneuvering through heavy city traffic.

Battery Basics
With a sealed battery you will not have to concern yourself with periodic checks of the fluid level. This is a nice convenience that saves a lot of time. If you do plan to keep this scooter in storage for several weeks, or longer, you should remove the battery and store it separately in a well ventilated section of your garage.

Display Panel
The display panel shows your speed and this is registered in miles per hour as opposed to km/hr. Drivers can also quickly check their odometer readings and available fuel level. The turn signals and high beam indicator light are also shown on this panel.

Handlebar Controls
On the left handlebar are the controls for the dimmer switch, horn and turn signals. The right handlebar has the electric ignition switch and master light switch. This setup may take a little getting used to by many US drivers if they have been more accustomed to the right handed turn switch control that is standard in automobiles.

Weight Requirements
The WFA 50S-2 scooter can carry up to 2 riders, but the weight capacity is rated at 200 pounds. Although this steel framed 2 wheeler is capable of handling higher weights it is best to stay within the limits that are listed.

Options to Consider
There are some optional features that can be purchased to make the driving experience even better. You might want to add the cell phone indicator light which shows when you are receiving calls. There is also a storage box that can be mounted on the rear, and it comes with a back rest that is built in. The additional storage space will come in handy, and even if you are going to be the only rider the higher profile from the backrest adds a stylish statement to the scooter.
